Total
Skills & Powerskating
Shooting, passing and puck handling are important skills in the game of
hockey and will be a part of each weekly clinic. However, skating is still
the key to the game! If you can't skate, you can't play.
The Total Skills & Powerskating program's goal is to improve the skating
skills of each player, while helping each participant further develop their
puck control skills. Unlike many program's blanket approach, we recognize
the skater's need for individual attention. We focus on evaluating, and
then moving to improve the skills of each student. While this is not a private
session, the skaters receive the attention and instruction necessary to
improve their game.
This is accomplished through aggressive lesson plans formulated by the area's
top hockey instructors. Sessions begin by concentrating on proper techniques,
and become more intense and fast-paced as the program progresses. Students
in the program will not only improve their skills, but will also be excited
to come to the program every week. |
