Bruins and Bay State Hockey Host TD Banknorth PASS Clinic
Area Hockey Players Take to the Ice in Burlington with Former Bruins Leach, Sweeney and Beers

BURLINGTON -- Eighty-five youth hockey players learned what it takes to be a pro from former Bruins Bob Beers, Steve Leach and Boston Bruins Foundation Director of Development and former Bruins Bob Sweeney.

TD Banknorth, Bay State Hockey and the Boston Bruins hosted the clinic as part of their Partnership to Assist Skaters and Shooters (PASS) Clinic series in conjunction with Burlington Hockey and Skating Association (BHSA). The ice time for the event was provided by FMC Arenas, operator of the Burlington Ice Palace.

The exciting event started off with a check presentation of $1,000 to BHSA from TD Banknorth. TD Banknorth Vice President of the Burlington branch Catherine Callais presented the check to BHSA President Ed Francis.

After the clinic the youth hockey players received autographs from Beers, Leach and Sweeney as well as a PASS jersey, a PASS backpack, PASS water bottle and two tickets to the 11/23 Bruins game against the New York Islanders.

The next PASS clinic is Tuesday, January 15th.
